Matthias Knopp

Deutsches Museum, Germany

Dr. Matthias Knopp studied at the University of Bonn, Germany. In 1985 he was appointed Assistant at the Technical University Munich, and conducted Research projects in Nuclear and Atomic Physics in Munich, Strassburg and Cologne. In 1987, he was Astronaut candidate for German Spacelab mission D-2. He became Curator at Deutsches Museum for Astronautics in 1989, and since 1995, he's led the project setting-up "Deutsches Museum Online".

Matthias will co-present Deutsches Museum Online: presenting science and technology on the Web.
