In the Beginning God Was Dead: Re-U-Man

The Re-U-Man project was inaugurated at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as an interactive project. The project has a permanent home on the web site where it invites commentaries in different forms. From time to time re-u-man appears as an installation project in museums, in galleries, and as an event in universities and conferences. Re-u-man breaks down the barrier which exists between the physical realm of the museum and the virtual realm of the web site. At the conference in New Orleans I am planning on presenting the new phase of Re-U-Man; "In the Beginning God Was Dead." I hope to receive good commentaries from the conference in New Orleans, so that I may incorporate them into my upcoming Manhattan/Munich project which is planned for May of 1999.
