Building Your Own Web Site

Session: Workshop 9

The workshop will provide details of how to write World Wide Web pages, particularly in a museum context. A basic session on HTML (HyperText Markup Language) will be given, together with hints on structuring and linking Web pages to aid navigation, and tips on Web page design to improve appearance and speed up loading over the network.

Background:

Suitable for those with basic computer skills but with no experience of creating Web pages.

Outcome:

First experience of creating a small set of connected Web pages.
