Stories

In the face of increasing pressure to open their collections to the general public, museums throughout the world have been grappling with two significant issues:

  • How do you encapsulate the expertise of the museum’s collectors, curators and researchers in an on-line forum?

  • How do you ensure that your collection information is not taken out of context and misinterpreted?

To address these issues, KE Software is implementing a Stories module for KE EMu. This module will support the creation and publication of stories, research papers, interactive exhibits, interpretative information, etc. Stories will be accessible directly over the Web and will provide the buffer between the general public and the raw catalogue.
