Paolo Loiudice is a fifth year student in computer engineering, processing systems branch, at Politecnico di Milano and he's working on his thesis about collaborative 3D environments together with Timothy Barbieri. He started working with Java in the 1st quarter of 1997 in a Software Engineering project. Further development of the same project lead him to successfully experiment the integration of Java and VRML to realize a 3D shared environment called VRMLTalk. He also works as a technical consultant on digital pre-press systems.
