Sarah Schultz, Associate Director of Education, Public and Teen Programs for the Walker Art Center assumed her role in July 1997 following five years as the museum's Associate Director for Special Projects. She received a M.B.A in Arts Administration from SUNY Binghamton and a M.A. in Art History from the University of Minnesota. She has worked for numerous art organizations including The Children's' Theater Company, American Ballet Theater, The Australian Opera, and the Art Gallery of New South Wales and has taught at City Art Institute (Sydney, Australia), University of Minnesota, and Hamline University. A published poet, she serves on the Board for the literary organization, The Loft and has been a panelist for the Minnesota State Arts Board.
