Sandy comes from a background in map publishing and Geographical Information Systems, he worked in hardware and software support at the MOD Map and Charting Establishment. Previous to joining SCRAN He was responsible for IT, and latterly, Collections Management at the National Museums of Scotland. He is Resources Manager for the Scottish Cultural Resources Access Network (SCRAN), responsible for the implementation and management of the SCRAN Resource Base and the project management of SCRAN asset capture projects . SCRAN is a £15 Million project to build a networked multimedia resource base for the study, teaching and appreciation of history and material culture in Scotland.
