Neil Beagrie is Standards and Collections Development Officer at the Arts and Humanities Data Service Executive in the UK. Prior to taking up this post he was head of the Archaeological Archive and Library at the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England. Over the past decade he has been heavily involved in the computerization of national heritage records and the development of heritage and museum documentation and preservation standards in the UK and Europe.
