Michael S. Shapiro, formerly General Counsel of the National Endowment for the Humanities, is in private law practice and serves as a consultant to arts and humanities organizations. In addition to serving as General Counsel to the Art Museum Image Consortium (AMICO), Mr. Shapiro currently is working on projects for the American Association of Museums, J.
