Bill Swersey is a masters candidate in the Interactive Telecommunications Program in New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Before attending NYU, he worked as a professional photojournalist for 15 years, including 5 years based in Russia. His work has been published in The New York Times, Time, Newsweek, Business Week and numerous other national and international publications.

Swersey is now concentrating on new media design and production, with an emphasis on immersive photography and streaming media. He was among the first photographers in the world to work with IPIX technology and has produced IPIX projects for The New York Times on the web, numerous commercial clients and a recent demonstration project for New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art.
