VIVID 700 COLOR 3D SCANNER--Generate computer 3D models directly from physical artwork and artifacts.

Minolta presents the Vivid 700 3D Digitizer. The Vivid uses an eye-safe laser to scan your pieces in less than 1 second. Multiple scans from various viewpoints are merged to make a faithful computer replica. The resultant 3D models can be optimized either for highly accurate measurement for authentication and research, or for fast viewing on the web or on CD. Vivid captures both the 3D shape of the object as well as the color information. Minolta has configured solutions based on the Vivid product to address the complete process of creating appearance models for Web publishing, CAD models, and replica parts created via machine tool or rapid prototyping. Minolta has teamed with content creators to provide these services to the museum community as well.
