Giuseppe Raffa received his PhD degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Bologna in 2006 with a dissertation on Context-aware Computing in Smart Environments. In 2005 and 2006 he was an intern at Intel (System Technology Lab) in Hillsboro. His research interests are mainly in the field of sensors-based context-aware systems, with a current focus on formal context representation and context middleware.
