Demonstration: Demo Track 4: Digital Collections

The I.A.G.B. (I.A.G.B. Istituto di Arti Grafiche) in Bergamo was the first Italian publisher to equip itself, at the beginning of the century, with typographic apparatus for the printing of photographs on the same page as graphics and texts. In particular, the magazine "Emporium" realized an advanced photographic archive. Digital technology allows us to explore these photographic memories with acceptable quality, with the aim of understanding the reasons that led to these interesting reportages.
