Demonstration: Demo Track 5: Preserving Culture

In partnership between the new Zoom Children's Museum and Uma Information Technology AG, a very special digital collection will be established: the Virtual Collection of Children's Everyday Culture. Using specially designed scanning stations children will archive objects of their everyday life. Installing such scanning stations in museums worldwide the collection will allow comparison of children's everyday culture, internationally. The collection will be accessible through the Internet by Spring 2002.
