Dr. Costis Dallas, Chairman of criticalpublics.com and Lecturer in Cultural Heritage Informatics in the Department of Communication, Media and Culture, Panteion University of Athens, has significant experience in information technology and hypermedia applications in the museums and cultural field. He served as Head of Documentation of the Benaki Museum, General Director of the Foundation of the Hellenic World, Special Secretary for libraries, archives and educational technology of the Greek Ministry of Education, Special Adviser to the Greek Foreign Minister on culture and technology issues, and was co-founder of Hellas On Line, a major Greek Internet Service Provider. He was Chair of the Multimedia Working Group of CIDOC, an evaluator for ESPRIT and other European Commission programmes, and is a member of the Steering Committee of the Digicult (Technological Landscapes forTomorrow's Cultural Economy) study.
