Dr. Pierre Boulanger is a Research Officer of the Institute for Information Technology at the National Research Council of Canada. His main interests include advanced research in nonlinear computer vision, geometrical modeling, photorealistic virtual environment systems and on the processing of data produced by 3D range sensors for applications in manufacturing and rapid prototyping. He received his B.Sc. in engineering physics in 1980, a M.Sc. in physics in 1982, both from Laval University and his Ph.D. in electrical engineering in 1994 from the University of Montreal (Ecole Polytechnique).
