Mini-Workshop: How Small Institutions Implement Large Web Sites

Small museums and collections often have small or non-existent staffing and support. Collecting, preservation, restoration and repair, cataloging, photography, preparing digital images, researching, writing descriptions and essays, creating HTML, designing a web site and navigation: can (or indeed should) an individual attempt it all? This mini-workshop presentation will describe some successes and failures in just such an attempt.
