David Stark David Stark received his B.A. in French from Oberlin College and his M.A. and Ph.D. in History of Art from Ohio State University. He has taught art history at the University of Minnesota, Morris, and has held the position of Curator of Education at both the Munson-Williams Proctor Institute, Utica, and the Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design, Providence. His research focuses on 19th-century Belgian art, with publications appearing in the Gazette des Beaux-Arts and La Revue du Louvre. Since 1994, he has served as Senior Associate Director of Museum Education at the Art Institute of Chicago. He is also a part-time instructor at Columbia College.
