James Thornton is a Member of the Research Staff in the Computer Science Laboratory of the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center. He holds a BMath in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia. His research interests include distributed systems, information management, and mobile computing.
