Andrea Moed is a writer, editor and content developer who specializes in working out new editorial formats and strategies for emerging media. She began her career at Edwin Schlossberg Inc., developing interactive exhibits for clients such as NASA, Sony, Ben & Jerry's, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. After leaving ESI in 1996 she worked mainly on the web; projects included educational sites for the Brooklyn Museum of Art and the Brooklyn Children's Museum. During 2000 and 2001, Andrea served as the first web editor of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). She recently completed her master's thesis at New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program. Her thesis project, Annotate Space (www.annotatespace.com) developed models of nonfiction storytelling to be experienced where the stories take place, via the wireless Internet.

Andrea will demonstrate Annotate Space: Neighborhood Interpretation on Location
