Workshop: Content Management

The purpose of this full-day workshop is to help participants identify opportunities for improving digital content management within their organisations. As digital content production increases, many organisations lack the systems and processes to make that content accessible, useful and reusable for their customers and staff. Content management systems come in all shapes and sizes, but finding the right content management solution requires more than just software.

Using examples from projects undertaken at the National Museum of Australia, this workshop explores the principles of content management systems and shows participants how to plan and implement effective solutions for large and small applications. At the end of the workshop, participants should be able to identify their content management priorities and options for content management systems relevant to their needs.
