Terry Dickey Terry Dickey, Coordinator of Education at UAM, has a broad background in Alaska’s cultural history and the physical sciences. Mr. Dickey has organized the educational curriculum for several exhibits that supplement the elementary school curricula, including: Crossroads Alaska, Alaska or Bust, Forced to Leave: The WWII Detention of Alaskan Aleuts and Japanese Americans, and Threads of Gold: Women of the Alaska Gold Rush. He has directed production of more than three dozen school tour programs from grades K-12 that are currently offered through the Museum’s School Tours Program. Mr. Dickey was a Rockefeller Fellow and was awarded a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Museum Education. He earned a M.ED in Cross-Cultural Education from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 1987.
