As eduweb’s founder and principal, Dave Schaller is responsible for the overall creative direction of the company and the perpetual quest for the sweet spot where learning theory, Web technology, and fun meet. For more than ten years, he has been developing award-winning digital learning interactives for museums and educational organizations around the country. Currently he is also Principal Investigator of a National Science Foundation-funded study into children's learning styles and digital interactives and co-PI on WolfQuest, a major learning game project also funded by NSF. Dave has nearly twenty years of experience in natural history and social science interpretation, working in print, exhibit, and Web media. As an exhibit developer in the mid-1990s, Dave worked on museum exhibits about a wide range of topics from Civil War history to natural science. He holds an M.A. in Geography and Museum Studies from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Humanities from Macalester College.
