Guy Hermann

Director, Information Services, Mystic Seaport Museum

Guy Hermann is Director of Information Services for Mystic Seaport in Mystic, Connecticut. He is also Managing Editor for the Museum's WWW site and has been working actively to develop both Internet and Intranet resources at the Museum including the recent "exploring Amistad" site. Guy speaks frequently at museum conferences and has written articles on computing for publications as diverse as Spectra (the journal of the Museum Computer Network), The Lawyer's PC, and The Journal of Light Construction. His chapter "Shortcuts to Oz" appears in AAM's book The Wired Museum. He holds an MA in Literature and is also licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard to serve as Master of ocean sailing vessels. He is currently President of the Museum Computer Network.
