ACSIOM's Integrated Learning System (ILS)

Originally developed by the Computer Science Department of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, ILS represents the state of the art in asynchronous, multi-media, web-based educational technology. In its simplest form, ILS enables museums to put virtual exhibits on-line quickly and inexpensively. More complex components of the ILS technology provide interactive learning opportunities for viewers who wish to learn more about a specific virtual exhibit, a specific artist, or a specific work of art.
