Robbie belongs to that increasingly large group of librarians turned cybrarians. Before joining the Australian War Memorial's Research Centre in 1997 as a Reference Librarian specialising in online services, she managed Reference Services at the State Library of the Northern Territory for 8 years. During this time she became an adept searcher, aficionado and advocate of the Web. She got the chance to refine her web skills further as a member of the team responsible for developing the Memorial's new website in early 1998. She has been Web Manager at the Australian War Memorial since September 1998.
