Brad Loetel is the Webmaster for The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, IL. In early 1997he was an intern, from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), working to broaden the scope of the Museum's original web site. Upon completion of his masters degree he was employed as the Museum's full time Webmaster. While at the museum he has created or oversaw the development of over 40 web sites. The current museum web site now contains 3500+ pages and grows by 10 to 20 percent every 2 months.

Brad holds a masters degree, from the University of Illinois at Chicago, in Medical Illustration. While at UIC he worked as a research assistant at the Instructional Technology Lab. The Lab was created to help the faculty and staff with development of on-line material and to teach the instructors how to use collaborative technologies to enhance the learning environment. In 1994 he received a bachelors degree from Iowa State University in Biological/Premedical Illustration.

His current areas of research include Information Architecture and web interface design. In his spare time he provides technical support for Macintosh hardware and software.
