And the Winner was:

Division of Paleontology at the American Museum of Natural History
http://paleo.amnh.org

Judges Comments:

Well designed site that gives the user access to images, reference material and other information.

- Angela Brayham

This site illustrates the potential of web technology to bring the current research of museum scientists into the public domain for the delight and edification of researchers at all levels and the general public at large.

-Jim Devine

This site contains a wealth of information, which is quite useful to the experienced researcher. The archives of letters and expeditions are especially interesting. As a novice I found the Turtle catalog to be the most informative. This contains many links and references to publications for researchers.
