Nicoletta Di Blas is a researcher with the Department of Electronics and Information of Politecnico di Milano. She graduated in Classics and obtained a Ph.D. in Linguistic Sciences from The Catholic University, Milan. She currently teaches Communication Theory for Politecnico di Milano (Como campus) and Communication for Cultural Heritage for the University of Lugano (Switzerland), at the TEC–CH (Technology-Enhanced Communication for Cultural Heritage) master course. She works for the HOC-lab of Politecnico di Milano (http://hoc.elet.polimi.it) in projects related to the following areas: (1) multimedia, multi-channel applications (more than 40 developed so far, mainly in the Cultural Heritage domain); (2) serious games design (3D collaborative worlds, involving thousands of students from Europe and the USA, digital storytelling tools); (3) impact evaluation (on both fields of application).
