Eric Bates has over 16 years experience of working with major international museums and galleries on their high tech interpretations and solutions. Eric joined the Victoria and Albert Museum in April 2007 as their Multimedia manager, where he is responsible for the all high tech interpretation in the museums permanent galleries. His background is in design and project management and joined the V&A from Cogapp (www.cogapp.com) a consultancy, design and production company that specialises in the delivery of online and interactive media for the museum sector. He is interested in promoting the use of emerging technologies in the museum environment, with particular interest in multi-channel delivery of content and information.
