Layla works closely Bean Creative clients in strategic planning. With her broad advertising and agency background, Layla is well-versed in developing marketing content and usability practices that align with strategy. Her area of expertise includes concepting site interactivity, providing strategic planning, completing audience analysis and competitive research, organizing user testing, developing content audits, advising on best practices for usability/accessibility, and developing information architecture and site maps. As co-founder of Bean Creative, Layla has been integral to the planning and development of each client website project and is a key factor in turning client projects "from the conventional to the captivating." Layla has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland, and in her capacity as a marketing expert on web development, she brings over fourteen years of experience in marketing and project strategy development for clients including PBS, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Smithsonian Institution, The American Red Cross and the National Children’s Museum. She is also a member of the American Association of Museums (AAM), where she served on the 2009 MUSE Awards selection committee in the Video category.
