Sarah McDaid is a freelance Usability Consultant and Visiting Research Fellow at London South Bank University. Her current research interests include the development of a design and evaluation framework for human-computer interaction in a social context. Her professional experience includes employment as an IT specialist on high profile local government software projects and interactive television systems, and as a freelance web consultant. Her previous research areas include interactive television and plant pathology. Sarah has a BA in History of Art, an MSc in Computing and Design and a PhD in human-computer interaction.
