Dr. Geraldine M. Otremba has been a senior manager at the Library of Congress since 1994 serving as Director of Congressional Relations, CEO of the Open World Leadership Center housed there, and currently Senior Advisor for Education. Her career experience includes cultural philanthropy, program and operations management, government relations, and strategic planning. Prior to the Library of Congress, Dr. Otremba was Vice President for External Affairs at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (1975-1994) and senior manager at the National Endowment for the Humanities (1971-1975). Her master’s and doctorate are from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
